A former executive at King Provision Corp., Tracey’s greatest passions are growing fresh food and building a better community.

An entrepreneur at heart, Tracey loves to connect people, opportunities and ideas. She realized the need for community food resources while working with The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida as a trustee. Her vision for ABUF was a commercially scaled farm that demonstrated alternative approaches and provided a platform to host collaborations with partners across the region.



Susan King is a CPA with three decades of experience in financial management and accounting. Most recently, she spent six years as the executive director of BEAM (Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministries). In that role, she developed two client-choice food pantries, a 6,500-square-foot, raised-bed organic garden to support the pantry operations, and the Beaches Community Food Bank (which distributes more than 750,000 pounds of food annually). Susan always had an interest in gardening and became a master gardener in 1992. After seeing first-hand how low-income families struggle to access healthy food, Susan is committed to changing the paradigm to make healthy, locally grown produce available to all.


Greenhouse and Community Relations Manager

Our greenhouse powerhouse, Eleanor Perry’s experience including teaching and developing programing for children, gardening and landscape design makes her a triple threat team member. Eleanor oversees all aspects of growing in our greenhouse and leads our efforts in educating the Jacksonville community about aeroponic urban farming and the benefits of locally grown food. Eleanor works with nonprofits, schools, community organizations and households to implement and maintain urban gardens of their own.
